Our Community Cookbook

This year we released the second community cookbook, A Seat at the Table. Students, faculty, and alumni of the Masters of Nutrition Program have submitted recipes that are important to them to share with you all as a part of the Meredith community.

Cookbooks may be purchased here for $20.00! You may pick up or have the cookbook delivered for an extra charge.

Everybody Eats: Communication and the Paths to Food Justice

We are honored to welcome Dr. Marianne LeGreco to speak at the 2023 Empty Bowls Event.

Dr. Legreco is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at UNC Greensboro. She specializing in teaching Health Communication, Research Methods, and Food Policy. She is a coauthor of Everybody Eats: Communication and the Paths to Food Justice. This book focuses on Greensboro, North Carolina's successful efforts to decrease food hardship in the community through social justice communication. You can purchase her book here.

If you are interested in donating to hunger and food insecurity related efforts, checks can be made to Meredith College with NHHP Hunger Week denoted on the memo line. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the college.
